Seven adults and two children stayed here for a family long weekend in spring 2026 and absolutely loved it. The bedrooms were spacious, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms very good and loads of hot water. We were impressed with the amount of crockery, cutlery and glassware available, the huge dining table and adequate seating for everyone. The position in the woods was lovely with deer, rabbits and squirrels visiting to delight the children, plus bluebells and primroses growing. It was a really quiet location with a short walk to the lake and jetty which some of us swam from. Although the evenings were very chilly, the house was cosy and warm with heating and a very efficient fire. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Thank you.
